In short I'm Dec Anderson, and D.A Building Services is my business: a sole trader based in Saltash, Cornwall. We build patios, lawns, decking and garden walls across Cornwall and Devon, including Saltash and Plymouth, and we do the brickwork and blockwork too.

The work
Gardens, walls and masonry.
We do the brickwork as well as the landscaping: garden walls, steps, block retaining walls and the masonry on extensions for local builders. Our Facebook page also carries an earlier name, D.A.B.S, Dec Anderson's Bricklaying Services.
Most of what we post is outside the back door: sandstone, porcelain and concrete slab patios, new lawns, raised decks, sleeper beds, fencing and the walls that hold a sloping garden together. We work from Saltash, so most jobs are in Saltash and across the river in Plymouth, and we take on work across Cornwall and Devon.
How a job runs
Day oneGround dug out, levels set, waste removed from site and hardcore going in.
Day threeEvery fence post, pergola post and bin store post set.
FinishedThe paving, the lawn, the fencing and the finishing.
